Coding Horror (Jeff Attwood) – An awesome blog of Jeff musing about programming and people. It has also been very interesting following as Jeff Attwood and Joel Spolsky build Stack Overflow on the ASP.NET MVC framework while still blogging and producing a weekly podcast. Jeff has too many good articles to pick a favorite.
Stevey’s Blog Rants (Steve Yegge) – Steve is a fantastic writer with a great sense of humor and an interesting insight into working at Google. His “Execution in the Kindom of Nouns” is probably my favorite piece of software writing.
CodeBetter (Various) – Various authors discussing a variety of topics about, well, coding better. Many of the articles have a strong, often outspoken, opinions on how to code better, which I find interesting.
High Scalability (Various) - Always interesting to read what goes into building the big sites.
WekeRoad (Rob Conery) - I started reading this blog while following his MVC Storefront series. I found I really like the way he puts forward an opinion and vigorously defends and discusses it with readers of his blog. His article Crazy Talk: Inline Scripting and Code-Behind is one of my favorite pieces of software writing.
Scott Hanselman's Computer Zen (Scott Hanselman), Haacked (Phil Haack) and ScottGu's Blog (Scott Guthrie) are some my favorite information sources from inside Microsoft.
SecretGeek and XKCD are my two favorite blogs of a more light hearted nature.
